Front Light Building Company is proud to announce the addition of Matt O’Shaughnessy as Director of Sales and Concierge, marking an exciting milestone in the company’s continued growth throughout the Lowcountry.
Based in Bluffton, South Carolina, this strategic hire reflects Front Light’s commitment to elevating the luxury custom home experience while expanding its client-focused platform.
Matt brings a unique blend of service-driven leadership, construction expertise, and a deep understanding of the luxury residential market. His career began with four years of service in the United States Coast Guard, where he developed a strong foundation of discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Following his military service, Matt pursued construction management through Georgia Southern University, launching a successful career in residential construction.
After completing his education, Matt worked as a superintendent for a luxury custom home builder, gaining hands-on experience overseeing high-end residential projects from the ground up. He later transitioned into plan development and sales, where for more than seven years he guided clients through the full pre-construction process—from initial consultations and design coordination to planning and groundbreaking.
Matt’s career continued to evolve when he joined The Cliffs, one of the Southeast’s most respected luxury residential communities. As Builders Liaison, he worked closely with builders, homeowners, and development partners to uphold the community’s rigorous standards for design excellence, quality construction, and exceptional service.
Most recently, Matt returned to the Lowcountry and co-founded Revival Renovations with his wife, Heather. The design-forward renovation company quickly earned a reputation for premium homeowner experiences, thoughtful design solutions, and meticulous attention to detail. Revival’s service-driven philosophy closely mirrors Front Light’s values and long-term vision.
Matt and Heather live in Bluffton with their three children, ages 10, 7, and 1, and are proud to call the Lowcountry home.
In his new role as Director of Sales and Concierge, Matt will lead the next phase of Front Light Building Company’s luxury client experience. His focus includes expanding the custom home and luxury sales division, supporting growth in premier communities such as Palmetto Bluff, and strengthening relationships with key development partners.
Equally important, Matt will work to enhance the client journey at every stage—from the first conversation through design, construction, and long-term homeownership. His process-driven, hospitality-focused approach is designed to deliver a consistent, five-star experience for every Front Light client.
A major initiative under Matt’s leadership will be the expansion of Front Light’s concierge program. This offering provides ongoing post-construction support, reinforcing the company’s dedication to long-term client relationships and exceptional service well beyond move-in day.
As part of this transition, Revival Renovations will be rebranded as Revival Renovations, a Front Light Building Company. This integration adds a dedicated renovation and design division to Front Light’s portfolio, offering clients premium enhancements delivered with the same high standard of care the company is known for.
