Matt Green – Partner
Matt has over 15 years experience in the construction and development business. He is the owner of JCM Ventures, LLC and most recently was responsible for the development of Buckwalter Place town center in Bluffton, SC. He is co-founder of Live Oak Group, LLC and Live Oak Property Group, LLC, real estate development firms focusing on residential and commercial projects. Matt has a broad range of operational responsibilities including identifying investment opportunities, acquisitions, project management, development (including supervising construction activities), financial management, and sales & marketing.
Matt began his career as an accountant for Arthur Anderson. His desire to start a career in real estate led him to leave the industry and join Bennett Development, a real estate development firm in the Greater Boston area. As Project Manager working on various residential real estate development projects, he had responsibility for planning and feasibility studies, acquisitions, permitting all projects and running the daily operations of the company. In 2004, Matt left Bennett Development to found Live Oak Group, LLC and shortly thereafter Live Oak Property Group, LLC and JCM Ventures, LLC. Matt sits on the board and executive committee for the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce (National Chamber of Commerce in 2000 & 2006) and chairs the Bluffton Regional Business Council. Matt is also on the board of May River Montessori, Young Life, and is an active member of the Creative Coast and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Matt was born and raised in Shadyside, Ohio. He received a BA in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross and attended Linsly Military Institute for high school. Matt and his wife Jennifer have three children; Claire, Madelyn, and Logan.
Joseph “Hub” Green – Vice President
Jeff Parker – Director of Operations
Jeff Parker brings more than 21 years of construction and home building experience to Front Light, working in construction for small custom home builders, large production national home builder chains, and in large commercial construction. After graduating from Central Michigan University he began his career working for a custom home builder, where he gained valuable experience and skills as he built homes from beginning to completion – and developed a true passion for homebuilding. His comprehensive and multi-faceted industry experience includes having the opportunity to work in a wide range of roles in the construction arena — ranging from working as a carpenter to serving as project manager – giving him a unique edge in fully understanding the entire homebuilding process, and gaining a true understanding of the important role that a home plays as the center of a home buyer’s life.
Born and raised in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, Kimberly has seen first hand the growth and development that Bluffton and surrounding communities have experienced over the last 20 years. Coming from a large family deeply rooted in construction, real estate and small business ownership, she has been involved in multiple projects that have helped shape this beautiful area she calls home. Having worked for large national builders and local custom builders, she has learned the true value of quality home construction. From lot selection to design and everything in between, helping create a lifestyle and making people’s dream homes a reality is what she loves to do.
Kimberly attended Georgia Southern University where she studied art and education. In her spare time, it’s all about spending time with her fiancé, two year old son and their crazy zoo of rescue animals. She likes to travel, but more importantly, she loves playing tourist right here in her hometown.
Residing in humid Beaufort, South Carolina, Kathryn spends her time with her two golden retrievers, husband and tornado of a three year old on the sand bars near Habersham. Recently moving from Birmingham and being a full time marketing manager with Southern Living, Kathryn now spends her time as owner of kLo Design and Style and styling for Southern Living and other publications.
With a degree in Interior Architecture from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, Kathryn got her start in the design field early on. A culmination of good timing, the right people and a lot of experience in the field, Kathryn learned the art of styling from the best in the business. Styling, interior design, events and florals are passions that have recently come to the forefront of Kathryn’s career.
Jeannette is originally from Hopkinsville, KY where she lived until her junior year of high school when she moved to southern Illinois. Upon graduation she took a job with the U.S. Forest Service and worked her way up through the ranks eventually moving to Troy, NC and later to Asheville, NC. In the latter years with the U.S. Forest Service she worked as a Realty Specialist buying and exchanging land. Her projects included buying land for the Appalachian Trail and the Chattooga River. In 1996, she left the government to pursue a career in the private real estate sector and moved to Highlands, NC.
Jeannette has 23 years of experience in the real estate business. She holds a SC and NC Broker’s license. She has worked with several different real estate companies in both states as well as being an owner/broker in charge of a real estate company.
She is an experienced agent who has specialized in lots, land, residential sales, short sales and foreclosures. She also has extensive experience working with nonprofits such the The Nature Conservancy and the Trust for Public Land.
Her dream of living the Lowcountry lifestyle came true in August of 2016 when she moved to Bluffton with her four legged best friend Abby. She is passionate about giving back to the community where she works and lives. In Bluffton she has worked with cancer patients for Off Island Thrift as well as volunteer work with Hospice.
Peggy Christy – Partner
Peggy Christy was born and raised in Tampa, FL. Peggy is the acting CEO of Lifestyle Flooring Inc., one of the top 100 Flooring Companies in America. She acquired the business in 1982 and has grown the company into one of the most prominent and respected flooring companies in FL. Peggy has grown Lifestlye Flooring Inc. into a dynamic company focusing on national homebuilders and apartment communities. Peggy is involved in several industry organizations and community initiatives. Peggy enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs and spending time in Asheville, NC in the spring and fall.
Delton Cunningham – Partner
Delton has over 25 years’ experience, including over 15 years in senior operational roles in the homebuilding, real estate and flooring industries. He has served as Chief Operating Officer of Lifestyle Floors since January of 2012. Delton spent five years as the President and CEO of affiliated Tampa Bay area homebuilders, after serving for two years as Chief Financial Officer of Inland Homebuilding Group. Prior to that, he was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Danlin Group, a St. Petersburg, Florida-based real estate, development, and hospitality firm with extensive holdings in the Cayman Islands. Delton spent 8 years as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Bovie Medical Corporation; an American Stock Exchange Company headquartered in Melville, NY with operations in St. Petersburg.
Delton, a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in the State of Florida, began his career as a tax accountant with the Miami office of Arthur Andersen after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Florida. He helped found and currently serves as President of the Asset Protection Program Risk Retention Group, a South Carolina captive insurance company that provides insurance to its member builders in various parts of the country. Delton is married, enjoys spending time with his family and is as an avid SEC football fan who, on fall weekends, can usually be found in Gainesville or Oxford, where his two younger children attend Ole Miss.
